My Name Is Ariel

While a nice portrait of Santa Claus – for sure, a rather grim, muscled one! – is waiting to get his final photoshop colors, I took some time to do some stuff with good old fashioned ink and a real brush (not a pixel computer brush). I want you to know who I am (Halloween Version)

This is quite a personal drawing … I had the idea while listening to a song from The Goo Goo Dolls: Iris. There is a line “When everything’s made to be broken / I just want you to know who I am”. The song was used in the movie “City of Angels” which is an american remake of  “Himmel über Berlin” (by german filmmaker  Wim Wenders).
